It was a pleasant morning when 15 PAX posted up at Condit Elementary school only to find the typical meetup and warmup area to be locked. Apparently they had just put in an almost glowing green new flat top. So we improvised in the parking lot and got the day stated.

Condition

I mean, it’s Houston. It was humid. About 75 degrees.

Disclaimer

This was my first Q, so a VQ, so not only did I disclaim everyone that I’m not a professional and they should push themselves but don’t hurt themselves, I also disclaimed this would probably be a bumpy ride.

The Thang

Warmup: Copperhead Squats, Imperial Walkers, Side Straddle Hops, Side Lunges, various and other sundry to work our legs.

Main Workout:

We moseyed over to the Frost Bank parking garage, stopping along the way to do some merkins, as well as some burpees. Once there, ramps:

1.) 5 stories bottom to top of bear crawls, jogging on flat area, bear crawls on the elevated ramps. Jog down and do 15 Merkins.
2.) 5 stories bottom to top of backpedals, jogging on flat areas, backpedals on elevated ramps, Jog down and do 15 merkins.
3.) 50 partner hand slap pushups
4.) Sprints: 5 rounds of 50 yard sprints, all out, then walk back to starting point, repeat sprint immediately.
5.) 3 stories, of broad jumps or lunges, jogging on flat areas, broad jumps or lunges on elevated ramps. Jog down, do 15 merkins.
6.) Mosey back to Condit.
