After a Mumble Chatter (MC)-free VQ several weeks ago, YHC returned for Q v2.0 at #TheGeneral. Past performance may not be indicative of future results.

#Warm Up/COP

In deference to Hookup’s plantar fascia, jacks were kept to a minimum.

  • Side Straddle Hops x 21 IC
  • Toy Soldiers x 15 IC
  • Up Downs (hereafter referred to as “Flashdancers”) x 10. MC heating up.
  • Grassgrabbers x 15 IC
  • Flashdancers x 10. MC expanding in breadth, depth, and intensity regarding YHC’s sprinting vs. tap-dancing technique.
  • Imperial Walkers x 15 IC

The Thang

Brief mosey to the Western Front parking lot for some burpee/broad-jump torture.

  • Bupree/Broad-Jumps across parking lot x 3, with bear-crawls on the finish.

At this point Duggar’s MC reached critical threshold, which earned the PAX an unscheduled round of:

  • High-Knee Flashdancers x 10.

Indian-run mosey around the block towards the benches. UHO (Unidentified Heavy Object) passed around for reasons that were unclear to YHC.

Bench-work:

  • The Dip x 15 IC
  • Right Leg Step-Up Skullcrushers x 20 IC
  • Left Leg Step-Up Skullcrushers x 20 IC

Rinse-and-repeat x 2 for a total of three cycles. Lactic acidosis, dehydration, and nausea amongst the PAX reduced the prevalence of MC.

Mosey to the Hall of Pain and partner up. YHC partnered with a garbage can in case of gastrointestinal instability (i.e. barfing).

  • People’s-chair sit-ups with 2-count punches (Whiskey modification) x 20.

Switch partners and rinse/repeat for total of 60 sit-up punches each.

Mosey to the flag, past the JV team workout on the east end of the lot. MC resumed, although now directed externally.

  • In-and-Out Abs (Animal Style) x 20 IC
  • Low-Flutter Kicks (Buble-approved) x 20 IC
  • In-and-Out Abs (Animal Style) x 20 IC
  • Rosalita x 20 IC

Count-O-Rama and Name-O-Rama

11 PAX, no FNGs. Fixer Upper showed signs of cerebral hypo-perfusion, unable to remember his own name. This was taken as evidence that the workout intensity-goal was achieved.

Circle of Trust, Ball of Man and Thoughts and Prayers

Expressed concerns about growth stagnation, time to EH some new PAX and RETAIN those who are slipping.
