8 Pax got a peak of what Houston Summer will be like with one of our first looks at a high humidity morning: the kind that smacks you right in the face when you first walk outside your nice air-conditioned home. After Britney’s rough morning at 0600h the 0700h WO had a lot to live up to. YHC was no doubt smoked this AM and had trouble with some of the exercise names, but just because you can’t pronounce the name doesn’t mean you can’t kick some butt. Let’s get to it… Hopefully most of the following is based on actual events (memory was a bit hazy that morning).

Partner up: 1s & 2s, and Indian Run over to the back of St Theresa’s Church for some Partner work –
P1 – Sack run in and out of the cones across the parking lot
P2 – Seesaw Lunge- AMRAP, FLAPJACK
P1 – Sack run in and out of the cones across the parking lot
P2 – Merkins- AMRAP, FLAPJACK
P1 – Sack run in and out of the cones across the parking lot
P2 – Lunge Jumps- AMRAP, FLAPJACK
Circle up – Hot Potato Sack
**Rinse & Repeat all of the above

Mosey over to Park of Tranquility – find some bench for:

  • Dips x20 IC
  • Step ups x20 (10 each side OYO)
  • Slow single leg STEP DOWNS
  • **Rinse & Repeat

Due to high sweat-volumes, YHC modified where we would hold our next pain station by moving the Pax to some water.

Mosey over to the playground by the swimming pool and grab some water. Grab some walls for:

  • Skull Crushers x20 IC (10 each side)
  • Dips x20 IC
  • **Rinse & Repeat

Grab some more water and head over (with some LUNGE INDIAN RUN) to the open field towards the SFs:

Partner up once again – this time for speed:
P1 – Jailbreak up and down the length of the field
P2 – Seesaw Lunge – AMRAP, FLAPJACK
P1 – Jailbreak up and down the length of the field
