The Thang

Mosey DA with the Bataan Death March (x5 burpees) to the north, through the Garden of Tranquility, past Bushwood, and into the gloom.

Mosey across the street, stopping between the fields just shy of the Bridge of Death. It was very Dark and YHC had trouble finding the way. Which was nice, because the PAX got a little longer break than planned.

Carefully traverse the Bridge of Death to St. Theresa’s backside. Pause, gather, and Jailbreak to the wall. Find your partner for:

Inverted Dora – BTTW while partner runs a lap / flapjack. RnR x3.

Recovery mosey around the side of the building, then a nice lengthy bear crawl. Stop briefly at the playground for Calf Raises x30 IC. Mosey back the SFs.

Why a little bit more? The PAX of the Hogg are accustomed to x20 IC or less of reps for many exercises in CoP and 6MOM. As we learned from the Iron Pax Challenge, we can and should do a lot more. So today YHC decided to do more…just a little bit turning all exercises into x30. Why all the shoulder work? ‘Cuz it burns. Why hand-release merkins? So we can all work on our form.

Good effort, but I have to say I miss the #mumblechatter and encouragement from the IPC.
