Condition

Humid and 71F.  The drive to The Trinity was filled with bright flashes of angry lightning and wet roads.  There was no rain or lighting and a peaceful feeling when the workout started and through the workout.  Within a minute of ending the COT the sadness resumed and drops of rain began to fall.

The Thang

Warm UP – Side Straddle Hop, Abe Vigoda, Side Straddle Hop, Grass Grabber, Side Straddle Hop

Mosey to the set up for the Bermuda Triangle.  Following the Triangle, we smoked our arms with the Bearcrawl Ring of Fire.  The Baton Death March lead us to the port a potties for an unplanned dumping by Boyscout.  The trio finished the workout with a set of Mary (high flutter, low flutter, LBC, Big Boy Situps, Dolly and Rosalita)

The last few days have been rough.  Constant thoughts have been on Cruiser and his loss.   I witnessed a high level of heroics and leadership Saturday morning.  When Big Wheel fell out he was side by side with others from F3.   Calls for a phone and a phone call to 911 were immediate.  Several stayed by Big Wheel willing life into his body.  Not waiting for the ambulance, others scrambled for a park official and then sprinted to gain access to an AED.  The paramedics attended to Big Wheel.  There were two prayer groups formed.  One was on top of the hill with Big Wheel and the other was the main group at the bottom of the hill.  I didn’t know Big Wheel prior to Saturday and I didn’t know he was Cruisers son until 15 minutes into the emergency.  When one of the PAX made the announcement that Big Wheel was Cruiser’s son, time stopped for about 5 seconds while I stood in disbelief as my heart sank.  The men of F3 came together in a time of crisis and gave BigWheel at shot of survival Saturday morning.  We will find our strength in you and you can find your strength in us…… We are F3…… #oldmanstrong…..
