Today was a special day in the nation’s fourth largest city. Today, F3 went BANG in Houston! A total of 28 pax with 17 FNGs posted to Memorial Park to see what this F3 thing was all about. What they got was a heavy dose of the #DRP. Here’s how it went down.

  • Each workout ends with a #ShotOut and a #BallOfMan, or #BoM. F3 is not affiliated with any religion. No one will try to convert you. The Q gets 30 seconds to offer up a prayer, an inspirational quote or message or whatever else he chooses. All the Q asks is 30 seconds of respect. When you are the Q, you will get the same 30 seconds of respect.

  • TheBishop is your #MumbleChatter king. If YHC had any confidence in his Q before we arrived, TheBishop methodically stripped it away over the course of the workout. He even listed an FNG, who brought his #MumbleChatter A game with him.
  • Spewer got his name even though he never actually #SpilledMerlot. He somehow held it back while he was being named. Maybe we should have named it FalseAlarm. Keep posting, brother! You will get better!
  • Soooo, Houston like burpees almost as much as Mr.Bean back in The Wood.
  • Hannibal assured us last night that he jumped six inches on every burpee. Based on that jump, brother, your M may have been lying to you…
  • There was some #Mumblechatter surrounding the JungleBoi Squat. This version of the Jumping Squat was named for DJ Swearinger, who grew up in YHC’s hometown of Greenwood, SC and spent some time with the Texans. Searinger’s self-given nickname is “JungleBoi Swag.” Hope that clears up any confusion…
  • #TClaps to Madonna, Hannibal, StakeOut and Fish for making the trip over from San Antonio to help out. You guys may be needed next week as well, but you will need to get Down the Street a little bit earlier.
  • #TClaps to Boomer for making the trip down from Dallas and to CrotchRocket for flying in from Charlotte as well as for his leadership of F3 Expansion.
  • There were a couple of other guys who came in from out of town. Sorry I missed where from.
  • Duggar and TheBishop put in a ton of work making this happen. Houston is in very capable hands with these two #HIM leading the way. Aye!
  • #Kotters to JR Ewing, who fell off the map but put himself back on it this morning. The gloom has missed you, brother.
  • Midweek workouts start TUESDAY at 0530, same exact location. There will also be a workout every THURSDAY at 0530, same location.
  • TheBishop has your Q on Tuesday and Dugar on Thursday. Next Saturday, YHC’s Navy buddy Alpo will have the Q and will focus on the 2ndF.
